These nine mini artisan gourmet delights reflect the pleasures Nonno experienced in Davos.
A high mountain health destination in the mid 1800s, Davos developed into a major ski and skating resort
when the construction of a railroad brought winter and summer tourists. Renowned personalities such as English writer,
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Shedlock Holmes, frequented Davos. It was here that Nonno learned to ski and skate.
He recalled fun filled days followed by huge cups of steaming sweet chocolate.
It was a toss up as to what Pio loved most - the skiing, skating, or the hot chocolate!
